Our jet-setting, nature inspired client needed a fully formed vision for the interior of his newly purchased harbour-side apartment.
With our direction taken from the ocean, to the forest and beyond, we curated an earthy palette that extends from burnt umbers to brassy notes, lush greens to teal blues and sulphuric yellows.
We designed custom joinery for both the living and media rooms - taking inspiration from worn, weather-hardy, marina-inspired materials and finishes. Our team of talented fabricators brought these ideas to life to create clever, functional and versatile spaces that work for both everyday use, and occasional visits from the nest-flown family, including a custom murphy bed.
Soft furnishing pieces were custom-made by some of our favourite, high-quality New Zealand makers, with fabrics selected for beautiful textural layering and comfort - a key factor in our client being able to come home and truly relax.
Organic touches were introduced through an asymetric timber dining table, plumped, plush armchairs, a custom rug in swampy green tones and beautiful artworks throughout the apartment by a host of artists, both local and international.
