Nikki Burnet
Nikki has an eye for strong, bold lines and juxtaposed forms; she takes joy from combining objects with narrative and signature pieces to create rich, eclectic interior spaces.
Katie Peck
Katie has a keen sense for sourcing and curating textural palettes of warm materials and fine detailing; carefully balancing classic with edgy, contemporary styles in a clean, effortless manner.
With nearly 30 years of combined design experience from across New Zealand, Australia, UK and Europe, we have established our personal ethos and foundations in design.
Our years working in world-leading design studios, putting our touch on luxury residential homes, developments and hotels, has given us sound skills and knowledge, ready to continue creating homes of quality and integrity for our NZ clients.
Together, our sweet spot is creating spaces that make our clients feel good daily.
Our name Kurio, is a play on the words curio (a rare, unusual, or intriguing object) and curated (discovering, collecting, organising beautiful things) with the K as our signature unexpected twist. Kurio is a reflection of our design ethos; Spaces designed to Live Distinctively.
As interior designers we understand that a well-executed, intentional design has a huge influence in creating a haven; a place of happiness, comfort and connection.
